Phil A. Fontes

Professional Background
Mr. Fontes is a commercial real estate veteran with over 35 years of retail leasing and tenant representation experience. He joined ASU in 2012 as a licensed real estate agent in the Retail Properties Division, and serves as a senior vice president, specializing in retail tenant representation, contract negotiations, and investment sales.

Previously Mr. Fontes was First Vice President and a principle partner at CB Bakersfield Partners, an affiliate of CBRE from 2000 to 2012. He began his career in 1985 with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate where he consistently earned top producing honors.

With extensive knowledge in tenant representation, investment sales, construction, and development, Mr. Fontes brings a unique approach to commercial real estate. His ability to individualize and customize solutions and to each clients’ needs has earned him his clients’ trust and long-term affiliation. Mr. Fontes received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Bakersfield.

Mr. Fontes represents clients throughout central California markets from Bakersfield to Lodi; Antelope Valley cities of Lancaster and Palmdale; and the central coast areas of Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo.
